Terms
Updated August 18, 2026Plain language, because that’s the whole brand. Using this site or hiring The Dot Com Machine means you’re okay with the following.
What we sell
- Website builds at the prices posted on the front page. A launch-rate build locks that rate as described there. Work starts after we’ve talked and you’ve said yes to a written quote or invoice.
- The Care Plan and add-ons — ongoing changes and named-platform setup/management, billed monthly as posted. No contracts designed to trap you: cancel and you keep your domain, your content, and your logins, as promised on the front page.
- Payment happens by invoice we send you — this website does not collect card numbers or payments.
Previews and demos
- The three portfolio sites are fictional demonstration businesses, shown to demonstrate range — they don’t depict real clients.
- A preview the machine builds for you is a demonstration, not a published website: it’s private-link only, built from your public listing facts, and it expires on schedule. It becomes a real site only after a human finishes it with you and you hire us.
- Feed the machine only businesses you own or represent. We may decline or remove any preview.
Honest limits
- The site and previews are provided as-is; we work hard on uptime and accuracy but don’t warrant that either is uninterrupted or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability connected to this website or a preview is limited to what you actually paid us for the work in question.
- Don’t scrape, attack, overload, or misuse the site or its forms.
